This mountain residence in the Beartooth Range was designed as a year-round family lodge informed by historic precedents of the American West and WPA-era park architecture. The home is organized to accommodate extended family and guests, with large gathering spaces and a layout suited for long stays. The design responds directly to its setting, orienting primary spaces to capture panoramic views in all directions while utilizing materials native to the region. A central Grand Room anchors the house, defined by an 80-foot single-log ridge beam that establishes the scale and character of the interior.
