This statement house is located on Lake Macatawa in Holland, Michigan, and has been a family home for generations. A remodel and an additional poolhouse were needed to upgrade the home’s functionality, but preserving the original charm from the family’s history was also important. Focusing on the outdoor, lakeside experience was the primary goal of the design, which incorporated a new pool, multi-level patios, landscaping, and a poolhouse to complement the original residence.
