This residence was designed to replace an older home while reinforcing the historic precedence and long-established character of the neighborhood. The clients sought durable materials and clear detailing to anchor the house within its context. The narrow, deep lot supported a straightforward organization: an upper porch and walkout at the rear, and a garage oriented toward the side yard. A circular entry sequence and front porch create a defined sense of arrival and maintain the home’s relationship to the street. The project’s Classic Revival style is expressed through its measured proportions and formal façade. The multi-stall garage and its turning geometry required careful coordination to achieve an efficient and unobtrusive solution.
