“The family entertains often, and they wanted a house that would easily allow for that while still providing intimate living areas for the family. Therefore, the home is divided into two primary wings. The south wing is the living area, which includes the spacious kitchen, inviting living room, Tiffany-blue sitting room, bedrooms, bathrooms, and other similar spaces. The north wing is the “fun” zone, outfitted with an extensive home gym, several game and recreation spaces, well-appointed offices, and even a private bowling lane – truly a place to relax and have a good time. The two wings are designed around a central auto court and connected via a sparkling, all-glass breezeway. The breezeway allows a fun glimpse of Lake Michigan and the pool on the “lake side” of the home, meaning a spectacular view is never far away.”

“Over the years, Sears has found that the happiest homeowners are the ones that have clear opinions while also putting their complete trust in the design and build team. This allows the creation of homes that truly capture a family’s everyday needs along with their most unique wishes. Each member of Sears Architects had a hand in bringing this project to the finish line, and that satisfaction of a team effort extends to all the artisans, craftspeople, and talented individuals that contributed their own skills to making the home a reality.”
